Vegan chocolate mousse cake

Ingredients Tart Crust 

2 1/2 cups of almond flour 

1/4 cup of agave 

small pinch of salt 

1/2 a cup of melted coconut oil

Method for crust

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix for 30 seconds or so until you are able to press ingredients together and it starts to stick
  2. Then lightly press into the tart tin until you have a nice smooth even base
  3. Now place in the fridge to cool while you make the filling 

Filling Ingredients

1 and 1/2 cups cup cacao powder

3 avocado

1/2 cup of maple syrup

1/2 cup nut milk

3/4 cup of melted coconut oil

pinch of salt

Method

1. Start by adding all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy

2. You can adjust maple to your sweetness. Once smooth and creamy remove from blender and pour into tart crust. Place in the fridge to set

3. It will take around 6 to 8 hours to set well. Top with fresh berries and nuts
