Energy Bites 


These quick and easy vegan energy bites are great to have in the fridge and enjoy on the go! Quick, easy, sugar free and great for a pre workout energy boost. By eating high nutrient dense foods as an energy source will not only power your workouts, but fuel your body and brain. 

Maca is the key energy boost ingredient in these energy bites. Goji berries are a great antioxidant superfood and hemp contains your complete amions and loaded with omega 3 

Energy Bites are something I have in the fridge every week. Perfect pre morning run or a afternoon gym session and even nice to enjoy as a snack of packaged processed foods.


4 chopped dates

2 tablespoons of  pepita seeds ( pumpkin seeds ) 

2 tablespoons of  goji berries

1 tablespoon of MCT oil

2 1/2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter ( buy the good stuff, pure peanuts only )

2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds

Tiny pinch of salt

2 tablespoon of organic maca powder


1/4 cup of shredded organic coconut

2 tablespoons of hemp seeds



  • Start by placing all ingredients except for coatings ingredients into a food processor and blitz gently, stopping constantly to scrap down edges until you have a nice crumbly mixture
  • Once the consistency is sticking together when you grab in between your fingers. If not, add a little water
  • Then once you have a nice consistency, pour out into a medium mixing bowl 
  • Take small spoonfuls and place in your palms, press and roll together until you have a nice small smooth ball
  • Pour all coating ingredients into a medium bowl and roll the balls through coating well
  • Once coated place them in the fridge for at least 1 hour 
  • Lasts for 4 to 5 days in an airtight container
