Vegan cheese, mushroom toast

Cheesy Mushroom Toasty


4 white mushrooms sliced 

1/4 teaspoon of turmeric 

small pinch salt and pepper 

1 tablespoon vegan butter 

4 thin slices of vegan cheese

2 slices white bread 


  1. Start by cooking the mushrooms in a medium frying pan with vegan butter, add in the turmeric and fry until golden brown
  2. Once cooked season with salt and pepper then layer on bread with vegan bio cheese
  3. Place in a jaffle iron and cook until golden and crisp 

Serve with fresh sprouts or avo
