My mission is to educate and inspire people on how to live a happy plant-based lifestyle. I do this by teaching hands-on cooking classes and workshops. Covering all aspects of plant health and nutrition. The ideas, the how-to, and the why!
My cooking classes and workshops are held in the stunning Roleystone hills. The private cooking studio was perched on top of the hill overlooking the valleys. Ayarah has quickly became rated as one of Perth’s best cooking schools. And Perth’s best Vegan cooking school.
I am 100% vegan for ethical, environmental, and health reasons.
Ayarah supports shelters and wildlife trusts around the globe. Profits from classes help support these incredible companies.
Hello, My name is Raya Higgs, owner and chef of Ayarah.
I have always loved being in the kitchen watching my mum cook. I loved experimenting in the kitchen, as early as I can remember.
My vegan lifestyle started through my bodybuilding journey in 2015. I switched to an all-vegan lifestyle for ethical reasons. After just a few months, I saw a improvement in my own health. I knew this was a new path for me.
Embarking on a healthier lifestyle and never looking back. Eating more, being healthier and better-balanced .
On a mission to inspire others, I started with Matthew Kenney’s vegan culinary school. I quickly found my passion for food and life was here! After 3 years of training, I opened Ayarah to educate and inspire others with plant-based food and nutrition.
Ayarah can help from loads of flavour-packed recipes and interactive cooking classes. I have you covered. Ayarah is your one-stop go-to for vegan food, health, and inspiration!
Ayarah is also a proud sponsor of The Kangaroo Sanctuary and The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Africa.
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was established more than 40 years ago. Best known for its orphans’ project. The Sheldrick Trust is a pioneering conservation organization, dedicated to the protection of wildlife and the preservation of habitats in East Africa.
